Workshop on evidence-informed public policy making at the CSIC delegation in Brussels

BruselasWe participate in a workshop at the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) delegation in Brussels that covers various topics related to science for policy in Europe, with a particular focus on Spain
Ana Elorza Moreno, head of Oficina C, participated on Wednesday 29 May in the workshop “Evidence-based policymaking: recent developments in the Spanish science for policy ecosystem,” organised by the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) at its delegation in Brussels.
The head of Oficina C was part of the panel “The Spanish S&T advisory ecosystem for public policy,” which focused on the structuring and empowerment of institutions within the national scientific and technical advisory system, and within the context of Spain's recent presidency of the Council of the European Union (July-December 2023).
The seminar, which included other panel discussions, highlighted advances in the use of scientific evidence for policy decisions in Europe and examined recent developments in Spain in this field.
