Fellowships

Candidates should send their CV and, if desired, a cover letter, to formacion@fecyt.es.

The deadline for submitting applications is 10 calendar days from the date of publication of the call for on www.fecyt.es and www.oficinac.es.

Minimum requirements  

• Students of master's degrees related to:
  • Scientific communication: scientific journalism, science outreach, etc.
  • Transfer of scientific knowledge: R&D management, transfer of research results, science and technology studies, innovation, etc.
  • Public policies: evaluation, analysis, public policy management, etc.
• Excellent proficiency in Spanish.
• Have a demonstrable high level of English, at least B2 level or equivalent.

Additional requirements:  

• Experience in writing scientific content for non-specialized audiences.
• Participation in research projects as a student or collaborator.
• Medium to high knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Participation in workshops, conferences, seminars, or additional courses.

Documentation to be submitted;

• Curriculum vitae in English or Spanish. 
• Additional: one-page long cover letter. 

1st Phase: Curricular assessment (40 points)

Experience in writing texts with technological-scientific content aimed at a general audience will be assessed, including articles, essays, or other formats of scientific dissemination. Maximum of 10 points.

Active participation of students in research projects linked to the university or research centre will be considered, whether as part of their academic training (Bachelor's or Master's thesis) or as external collaborators, in any field of science and technology (including social sciences and humanities). Maximum of 10 points.

Medium- to high-level knowledge of Microsoft Office tools will be valued. Maximum of 10 points.

Active involvement in complementary activities to academic training, such as attending or playing an active role in workshops, conferences, seminars, or additional courses, will be valued. Maximum of 10 points.

In this phase, the top four students with the best curriculum evaluation will proceed to the interview phase. If none of the students meeting the requirements apply, the scholarship will be re-announced at a later date.

2nd Phase: Interview (60 points)

Of the four students interviewed, the two students with the best total evaluation score in both stages of the process (minimum 40 points in the interview stage) will be the selected students.
