Webinar on the draft Report C on "Sustainable management of coastal areas"

The discussion featured contributions from Emilia Guisado Pintado, Associate Professor of Physical Geography at the University of Seville; Pablo Lorente, physicist and doctor in oceanography working at Ports of the State; Raúl Medina, Director of the Institute of Environmental Hydraulics of Cantabria; and Miriam García García, doctor in architecture, landscape architect, urban planning technician, and co-director of LandLab, Landscape Laboratory.

Topics discussed included technological innovations for precise measurement of coastal phenomena, the adaptation of coastal systems to current challenges, and the added value of citizen science in monitoring coastal areas.

Following the presentations, a question-and-answer session was held to encourage the exchange of knowledge and dialogue between both sectors and the general public.
