Oficina C, a success story at the conference on clear communication in public administration

On Monday, 10 March, the Paraninfo of the Diputació de Barcelona hosted the conference ‘Clear communication in public administration. Successful experiences of an ongoing transformation’, where Oficina C was presented as a success story with the intervention of its coordinator, Ana Elorza.

During the meeting, attended by over 200 people, the work of Oficina C in clear communication in the scientific field was highlighted. Its work in converting technical language into clear, accessible and contextualised reports that seek to inform parliamentary work was highlighted.

The conference, organised by the University of Barcelona-Diputació de Barcelona (UB-DIBA) Chair in Clear Communication Applied to Public Administrations, brought together experiences from different institutions working towards more comprehensible and effective communication.

In addition to Oficina C, other initiatives were presented, such as those of the Diputació de Barcelona, the University of Barcelona and the redesign of communications and notifications in the Government of Aragon.

These efforts reflect Oficina C's commitment to clear communication and underline the importance of making scientific knowledge accessible to improve the dialogue between science and public policy.
