Cicero Itinerary on sustainability and innovation in the wine industry

Around thirty experts, including officers from Oficina C, gathered last Thursday to discuss sustainability and innovation in the wine sector at the Delegation of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) in the Valencian Community.

The Cicero initiative aims to bring together research, public administration, and producers to enhance the contribution of science and innovation to addressing challenges related to wine production and sustainability.

This meeting brought together researchers, public policy representatives, entrepreneurs, and media to create a forum for evaluating and discerning improvement mechanisms that promote innovation in the wine sector.

During the event, participants addressed the challenge of climate change for the wine sector and explored the research lines developed by CSIC to tackle it.
