Oficina C participates in a case study on science policy within REBECA Practice, a tool from the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) that helps researchers explore new career opportunities outside the academic field.
On 20 June, the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) launched REBECA Practice, a digital tool for researchers to explore career paths outside the academic arena. The tool allows researchers to simulate tasks from seven different job profiles to better understand the professional options available in both the public and private sectors.
Oficina C has contributed to the development of the case study for the role of research evidence officers. This collaboration has ensured that the simulations for this profile accurately reflect the tasks and responsibilities of professionals in this role, working in the science and policy interface.
REBECA Practice is freely available in the REBECA (Researchers Beyond Academia) section of the Spanish national portal of EURAXESS. This platform offers tools to support the diversification of research careers.
