2024 Annual meeting of EPTA network officers

Copenhague (Dinamarca)We attend the annual meeting of technical staff from the offices of the EPTA network, organised by our Danish counterpart, Democracy X.
The officers team from Oficina C participated in the meeting of parliamentary science and technology offices within the EPTA network held on the 23rd, 24th, and 25th of October in Copenhagen, Denmark. The event was organised by Democracy X, the Danish representative of the network.
The event enabled the exchange of work experience between communication and policy officers and their counterparts from other countries, with representatives from Norway, France, Greece, Austria, the Netherlands, Germany, and the United States.
During the meeting, participants delved into the roots of scientific advice and technology assessment. The event was structured around three themes: the past, revisiting the history of the offices, the present, sharing current work practices, and the future, and exploring long-term scenarios to establish shared objectives.
The sessions allowed Oficina C to share knowledge and experiences, establish synergies between methodologies, and explore in-depth topics, such as artificial intelligence tools, multimedia formats, and clean industries.
